There is one main simple secret to attracting a man. This rule is so simple it not only works on men but also on attracting people in general. Though many of us know it, we don’t do it or think about it enough for it to be effective. What is this 1 simple rule?

BE A NICE PERSON

Nice is an extremely overused word, but it has so many synonyms and sums up so many of the qualities that make a person likeable, that it is a one-word road map to making and maintaining friends. From friendship comes love, and from love comes meaningful relationships.

Have you ever come across people who you immediately think, wow they are a really nice person? They seem to have a certain aura about them and everyone likes them? They are your friend after just minutes of conversation and friends for life after 1 day?

What it is about them that makes their likeability so immediately apparent is a mystery. But if you read through the roll of synonyms that Roget lists for nice, you will begin to get an idea of the qualities that attract friends like bees to nectar.

What are these synonyms?Pleasant, pleasing, agreeable, delightful, enjoyable, satisfying, desirable, good, kindly, friendly warm, amiable, winning, gracious, cordial, genial, charming, refined, elegant, proper, exquisite, fastidious, correct, cultured, polished, skilled, discerning, discriminating, subtle, delicate. Who would not like a person who showed even half those qualities?

To say it another way, to make people like you, you need to be likeable. To make people love you, then you need to be loveable.

That is easy to do right? It is definitely easier for some than other, but nonetheless the qualities above are things you can work on and strive to be. If you met someone who was Pleasant, pleasing, agreeable, delightful, enjoyable, satisfying, desirable, good, kindly, friendly warm, amiable, winning, gracious, cordial, genial, charming, refined, elegant, proper, exquisite, fastidious, correct, cultured, polished, skilled, discerning, discriminating, subtle, delicate, wouldn’t you want to be around them all the time?
