Looking after your skin

Rosehip oil can be used for a multitude of various reasons – a number of us use the oil to make sure their skin remains in good condition, others use it as a treatment for scars or stretchmarks and some people use it as an anti-aging cream. It has been proven in medical trials to make a big difference to your skins condition – particularly when it comes to decreasing the look of scars as well as stretchmarks.

The reason why rosehip oil is used as an anti-aging cream is because it’s a natural alternative to formulated creams and rosehip oil contains essential fatty acids that promote skin regeneration which will give you skin a more plumped, youthful effect.

As rosehip oil is 100% natural, it will not irritate sensitive skin (this means that even youngsters can use it on their skin to keep it hydrated and nourished). Also, down to the fact that it’s completely natural, it isn’t perfumed so it won’t overpower any perfumes that you use.

If you’re worried about the condition of your skin, it’s also a really good idea to drink a lot of water each day – around 2 litres (6-8 glasses). This can keep your skin in really good condition and will help to keep you hydrated. It’s also important to make sure that you’re protecting your body from dangerous UV rays too, so using a cream on top of rosehip oil can help to avoid sun damage.

It’s well-advised that you use rosehip oil (just a couple of drops!) to the area that you wish to better just two to three times a day and within six months you’ll notice improvements. The oil has been tested in clinical trials and shown some fantastic results. Many people have shared their stories about how rosehip oil has assisted their skin and motivated friends and family to start to use it too.

If you are keen to find out more about rosehip oil, it’s a good idea to have a look at rosehip oil on the web.
