Marquee Hire Prices: Getting The Right Price

When organizing an outdoor function, be it a wedding reception, birthday party, or other event, it is prudent to check out marquee hire prices at the earliest possible opportunity. There are a number of factors that will play a role in determining the amount you are charged, you should be clear on what such factors are prior to making the booking. By doing so you may be able to save yourself some amount of money.

First of all there is the size. The bigger the design, the more money you will have to spend. Think about what size would best suit your needs, remembering that it is better to err on the side of caution and choose from marquees that may be too big as opposed to making do with one that may only just be large enough.

Your location will also have an impact on how much you are charged. If the event you are planning is to be held in the south east of England or London, expect to have to pay more than if in Wales or Cornwall. That being said, if you live in an urban area, there would likely be more companies offering this service than in a predominately rural location, therefore the competition can result in a better deal being had.

The type of marquee will also have an influence on how much your are charged. Think about whether you would like a traditional canvas tent that would be adequate for a summer event, or a new style PVC design that can withstand even the most harsh weather.

Find out what the cost of various extras would be. For instance, if you want a special type of flooring or tools to help put up the tent, these are likely to come at a higher price.

On a final note, you should be aware that one of the main issues that effects marquee prices is timing. During busy times of the year, the amount you would be charged would be a lot higher than during the off season.
